Kamloops House Tours FAQs (frequently-asked questions)
Category: Main -> Realtor Questions
Question
AnswerHow much does it cost to have a 360 Virtual tour of one of my listings? The cost is $99. You only pay once and the property is hosted on our web site for one year. Back to topHow many virtual tours will you do? Some virtual tour photographers will quote a specific number of included virtual tours for the purpose of charging you for "extra" shots. We will take as many virtual tour photos as we deem necessary to properly feature your property for sale for the same low price of $99. Back to topWill you take regular photos for me as well? How much extra will it cost? While our photographer is on location, they will take as many still photos as they deem necessary to properly feature your property for sale. The cost of the still photos is included in the $99. Your time should be spent selling houses, not taking photos. Back to topCan you take photos for use on the MLS web site? Of course, the still photos that we take will be optimized and ready for you to include in your MLS listing. You won't have to take a single photo. Back to topI've noticed that some of the houses listed on Kamloops House Tours have extra icons on their MLS listings, can I have those too? How do I add them? At the time of this writing, no other realtor in Kamloops utilizes as many additional icons on the MLS web site as the realtors associated with Kamloops House Tours. MLS listings for our realtors include links to a location map, additional photos, brochure, and Multimedia (360 Tour). The addition of these links are handled by us, so you don't have to do a thing. Why are you only charging $99? I've seen virtual tours go for two or three times that amount. Our goal is to build a valuable resource to home buyers that will influence their decision on purchasing a house. By setting an attractive price, realtors have used our services for houses for sale in a wide range of prices. Can I list my home for sale on you web site without having a 360 Virtual Tour done? No. Our goal is to present all houses that we list in the best possible way. By only using photos that were taken by our photographers, we maintain a level of quality that can't be found elsewhere. Back to topI've seen Virtual Tours on other web sites that look blurry, what type of equipment are you using. Our most valuable piece of equipment is our photographers. In the relatively short amount of time that we've been doing virtual tours, we've far surpassed all others in Kamloops in both volume and quality. Do you take a bunch of photos and stitch them together? No. We use a professional grade high-quality optic that produces a 360 tour in a single photo. Back to topCan you show me how your camera works? Yes, when you book a tour we can show you how the camera works. Once you see it in action, it's actually quite simple. Back to topWhy should I have you do a tour when I can buy the hardware and do it myself? You *could* buy the hardware and do it yourself. Before you drop the money on the hardware required, please consider several things: I have an idea for another service you could provide, who should I talk to? We're always ready to add new services that will enhance the ability of our realtors to make a sale. If you have a suggestion, please contact Darryl Schmidt at 571-9733 or darryl@kamloopsepublishing.com Back to topWhy do some listings have an aerial photo while others don't Typically, aerial photos are only available for houses within city limits. If a house has been recently constructed, then an aerial photo may not be available. We do our best and provide them where possible. Back to top[ FAQ index ]
